As part of the annual symposium of TOBI (The Orthobiologic Institute), organized jointly with ASIPP (American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians), the prestigious 'Lifetime Achievement Award' has been presented for the first time. This international award recognizes those who have worked tirelessly for the development, preservation and advancement of Regenerative Medicine through their leadership, clinical research and dedication.

This year, the prize was awarded to Dr. Mikel Sánchez, a pioneer in the application of regenerative therapies in different pathologies of the musculoskeletal system and in the development of protocols for the application of platelet-rich plasma.
