Sergio González

After graduating in Medicine at the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2014, he went on to specialize in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at Madrid’s University Hospital La Paz from 2015 to 2020. Later, he joined the medical team at Dr. Mikel Sánchez’s Arthroscopic Surgery Unit (UCA) and Advanced Biological Therapy Unit (UTBA).

While training as a specialist, he has also worked as a Clinical Teaching Collaborator at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

During his training period, his interest in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine led him to carry out a stay with Dr. Mikel Sánchez’s team in 2018, and subsequently combine this training with specialists of national and international importance in complex shoulder and elbow surgery.

He is a participating member of Spain’s National Arthroscopy Training Plan (AEA) and National Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Plan (SECHC).

He is an active member of the Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, Spanish Association of Arthroscopy, Spanish Society of Sports Traumatology, and AO Trauma.

Throughout his professional career, he has been invited to speak at various scientific gatherings and conferences.
